We want to be as fair as possible, so we sell the buckles separately so they don't increase the cost of the shoes for those who don't need them, or who want a different style. Many folks already have their own shoe buckles, and we don't want to force them to pay extra for another buckle they don't need, or worse - one that may be a duplicate of one the set they already have! Other folks may not like the buckle we display the shoe with, and prefer to choose a different style buckle that suits their taste more. We ensure that there's several notes and warnings that you'll need to purchase your own buckles sold separately, so that you know in advance! (BTW we've restocked the pearl buckle if that's the one you want, but any of our buckles are interchangeable with any shoes, so pick whichever you like.)
